The ExpertPower 20000mah portable charger is a true workhorse! This power bank is impressive and has a high rechargeable capacity and holds power for a long time. At the same time, it’s super portable and allows you to charge two devices simultaneously.

Capacity & Charging Speed

The high capacity external battery pack by Expert Power has a capacity of 20000mAh and is reported to be a robust and reliable power bank. It can charge two devices at the same time, although the speed of charging will be different. This power bank has an output speed of 5V / 3.1A delivered through two USB ports 2.1A and 1A accordingly. Depending on the charged device the charging speed may differ. For example, it takes around one hour to charge a smartphone from zero, and it still has over 75% of juice left. Other devices with a larger battery capacity, such as iPads or tablets, can take a little longer. However, if you have an emergency and the battery should be charged instantly, keep in mind that the 2.1A port will be more efficient than the 1A.

This power pack holds a charge for quite a long time. It can be handy on long trips without access to a socket for a while. When I went camping, I was able to use it for four days without the need to recharge it. During this time it was used for multiple devices, including iPod, iPhone 6s, Galaxy 7s and I was able to charge them twice. There is another great thing about this power bank – it holds the charge even when not used.

Although the name suggests this device is made for smartphones and tablets, it can efficiently charge other gadgets, such as camera batteries, gaming controllers, or vapes. Similar to a phone, it takes about an hour to charge a Tesla 100w.

I can also be used while running the charging device and last for several hours. Do you remember the PokemonGo game and how much it kept everyone busy? So, taking it as an example, with this power bank you would be able to catch the Pokemon for a day straight and still be able to charge your phone before it would run out of juice.

Look & Portability

Expert Power 20000mAh power bank has a sleek design and average size. It will fit in most pockets, so it’s possible to take it on a trip or carry it as a backup battery every day. Some purses may be too small for it, but, again, for the majority of bags, it’s an optimal size.

For some people, it may appear a little too big and slightly heavy, but it’s the expected weight for a battery of this capacity. Although, it could even fit in a back pocket of my jeans while I was charging my phone. (Perhaps only tiny clutches won’t be big enough to hold it).

This power pack has a helpful feature – a flashlight. It is quite bright and can cover five to seven feet of light visibility. There are also indicator lights on the pack that show you the power level that the power bank has left.

Durability & Construction

The dimensions of this power pack are 6.4 x 3.3 x 0.7 inches. I can compare it to a deck of cards. It’s about the width of a deck of cards and half of its length, but it’s slightly thicker. For a portable charger, this is quite compact. A device that’s easy to hold in your hand.

The construction of the body seems quite durable. However, it’s worth mentioning that some users complained about USB ports getting a little loose so that the cable would disconnect or that the power bank itself would have to be charged on a flat surface. Such cases are individual though and are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

The power bank comes with a handy USB cable compilable with Android devices as well as iPhone 5 and higher, and iPhone 4S and lower. Although the cable can go faulty after a few months, this type of cable is quite common, so it’s easy to replace and doesn’t cost much.

Considering the features, capacity, portability, and speed of this power bank, I can call it a stable and powerful device. It does what it should. It charges the devices fast, holds power for a long period of time and has a great value-for-money ratio. The price isn’t high so for the money paid, with this power bank I received an excellent result.
